Bluetooth Communcations System (BCS)
The Bluetooth® Communications System (BCS) is a unique monitoring, recording, and broadcast system developed for specialized law enforcement/military team applications including Hostage/Crisis Negotiations, Investigations, and Undercover Narcotic Operations.
The BCS can be paired to ANY Bluetooth® enabled cell phone, allowing team staff to place and/or receive landline or cell phone calls. Once the call is connected, the communications taking place through the BCS can be monitored (listened to) and/or broadcast by multiple team staff by connecting Monitoring Headphones as well as RCA and/or RJ11 compatible speakers. The communications may also be recorded for evidentiary purposes by connecting a Digital or Analog (tape) recorder to the System. During prolonged operations the cell phone paired to the BSC can be charged by connecting the cell phone into the System’s built-in “Cell Phone Charger” port.
The BCS is also equipped with an “Auxiliary Phone Out” which allows the System to be integrated with an agency’s existing Crisis Response (Throw Phone) System. Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) staff can use the BCS to establish immediate communications to initiate negotiations with a subject involved in a hostage/barricade incident and later seamlessly transfer the negotiations to the Crisis Response System upon its arrival by using a standard RJ11 Telephone Patch Cable!
