Direct-Link 800 & 007 Series Crisis Response Throw Phone Systems
If your agency is seeking the best technology to aid your Hostage Negotiation, Tactical Response Team, and Command Staff in the safe and successful resolution of a hostage, barricade, standoff, suicide, or related Critical Incident, you have come to the right place!

Enforcement Technology Group, Inc. (ETGI) is proud to be the manufacturer and sole-source supplier of Direct-Link brand Crisis Response Throw Phone Systems.

Direct-Link Crisis Response Systems integrate multiple, state-of-the-art, communications and covert features that provide several advantages to aid Hostage Negotiation, Tactical Response Team, and Command Staff in the safe and successful resolution of a hostage, barricade, standoff, suicide, or related Critical Incident.

Due to the several “sensitive” covert features and technologies incorporated, complete Direct-Link Crisis Response Throw Phone System information is only available inside the password protected, “Secure Area” of our website. Inside the “Secure Area” of our website you may download a detailed Direct-Link PowerPoint Presentation, watch real-life hostage/barricade video clips, and much, much more!  To request access to the "Secure Area,” please click the "Secure Area Registration" button. Please note that access to the “Secure Area” of our website is only granted authorized law enforcement, correctional, or military personnel.

Some of the many features, facts, and benefits that set Direct-Link brand Crisis Response Throw Phone Systems apart from the “competition” that we are able to openly disclose include:

  • The internal circuitry of the Throw Phone component of ALL Direct-Link brand Crisis Response System’s are shock-mounted and delivered standard in a rugged/military specification Pelican® case. The Throw Phone is also hardwired to 100 ft. of cable that features a cut-resistant sheathing. These features help to prevent damage to the Throw Phone during deployment and field operations.

  • The Pelican® case of the Throw Phone component of Direct-Link 800 and 007 Series Crisis Response Systems feature a clear, “see-through” lid. This innovative design allows for a barricade subject or multiple subjects to confirm that the Pelican® case’s contents are “innocuous” without having to come into direct physical contact with the case; this feature also helps to encourage communications/ negotiations between the subject(s) and the Hostage Negotiator(s) over the Throw Phone.

  • The cumulative weight of the Direct-Link 800 and 007 Series Crisis Response System’s Command Unit Console, Throw Phone with 100 ft. of hardwired attached cable, and 500 ft. Spool of Throw Phone Extension cable weigh a total of 70 lbs, which allows the entire System to be carried by one officer, as well as easily transported inside the trunk of a squad car. Due to this compact design the freight expense is included in the price of ALL Direct-Link Systems delivered via ground service within the 48 contiguous states, and a Mobile Command Center is NOT required to store or transport the System.

  • To ensure the utmost quality and performance, ALL Direct-Link Crisis Response Throw Phone Systems are manufactured in a facility that holds international manufacturing certification ISO 9001:2000. This certifies that our facility has met the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization.  In addition to ISO certification, our Direct-Link Crisis Response System’s manufacturing facility recently received the AS9100 Rev. B certification, which is even more rigorous. The AS9100 pertains to the AeroSpace industry, and enables the facility to do extensive work for aerospace firms such as the Boeing Co.

  • We are so confident that your agency will be satisfied with their Direct-Link Crisis Response Throw Phone System that ALL Direct-Link Systems are delivered with a 30-day “hassle-free” money back guarantee. If an agency is unsatisfied with their purchase decision, the System may be returned within 30 days of receipt for a full refund (we will even pay the return freight).

  • ETGI started business in 1992. Throughout the years, ETGI has grown into a diverse company that employs in-house engineers, technicians, sales personnel and support staff.  This employment depth ensures that Direct-Link Crisis Response Throw Phone System clients will find minimal disruption in their service should an employee of ETGI no longer be able to fulfill their job duties due to medical leave, retirement, etc…

Direct-Link Crisis Response Throw Phone Durability Video
Direct-Link Throw Phone Exposure to Tactical Blasting Caps Video Demonstration

This (10) minute video clip and images were captured on July 8th, 2010 as a “durability” test at a multi-jurisdictional response agency’s joint Hostage/Crisis Negotiation and Tactical Team training exercise.

The purpose of this test was to see if the Direct-Link Crisis Response System’s Throw Phone component could withstand similar circumstances that had led to the severe damage of one of our competitor’s Throw Phones that the response agency had previously purchased and would cost $1,500.00 to repair.

This test involved the placement of tactical blasting caps directly on the Direct-Link’s Throw Phone Extension Cable and approximately 6 ft. away from the Direct-Link’s actual Throw Phone component.

As the video and images show the Direct-Link Throw Phone System withstood this tremendous force with NO affect to the Direct-Link’s Throw Phone.

Additional tests that day included running over the Throw Phone Extension Cable multiple times with heavy Mobile Command Centers which did NOT have any affect whatsoever on the Throw Phone’s transmission

Overall both the Hostage/Crisis Negotiation and Tactical Team were extremely impressed with the durability of the Direct-Link’s Throw Phone and Cabling. At this time, they have elected to NOT invest the $1,500.00 into the repair of their existing Throw Phone that was manufactured by one of our competitors and are now making arrangements to finance the purchase of a Direct-Link 007 Series Crisis Response System.

For legal/liability purposes multi-jurisdictional response agency’s name or the name of the competitor’s Throw Phone that they had damaged have not been disclosed. However, one team member that had attended this training exercise has given us permission to provide their name, telephone number, and email address to those officers that would like to learn more. Please contact us if you would like this information.

Bringing Bluetooth Wireless Cellular Connectivity to Existing Crisis Response System PowerPoint Presentation & Article
Reference materials to help you better understand and determine which Bluetooth Crisis Response Technology will best suit the needs of your agency.

Enforcement Technology Group, Inc. (ETGI) offers several technologies that can be used to bring Bluetooth® wireless cellular connectivity to your existing Crisis Response System.

By using the cellular network of ANY Bluetooth® enabled cell phone, Hostage/Crisis Negotiation Team can now communicate with a barricaded subject through a Crisis Response System in the event that communications are unable to be established on a Throw Phone OR Analog Landline.

Similar to a Crisis Response System’s Throw Phone an Landline features, communications taking place over the cellular network of the Bluetooth® enabled cell phone can be monitored (listened to) and recorded by multiple team staff members.

These technologies also allow Hostage/Crisis Negotiation Team staff to perform a “Throw Phone-to-Cellular Link.” This feature allows team staff to “link” a 3rd Party Intermediary’s cell phone call into the negotiations that are taking place with a barricaded subject on the Crisis Response System’s Throw Phone!

To help provide an in-depth understanding as to which Bluetooth Crisis Response Technology will be compatible with your existing Crisis Response/Throw Phone System as well as to help determine which of these technologies will best suit your agency’s needs, please review/download both PowerPoint presentation and Article contained in the links below.

The Bluetooth® Communications System (BCS) is a unique monitoring, recording, and broadcast system developed for specialized law enforcement/military team applications including Hostage/Crisis Negotiations, Investigations, and Undercover Narcotic Operations.

The BCS can be paired to ANY Bluetooth® enabled cell phone, allowing team staff to place and/or receive landline or cell phone calls. Once the call is connected, the communications taking place through the BCS can be monitored (listened to) and/or broadcast by multiple team staff by connecting Monitoring Headphones as well as RCA and/or RJ11 compatible speakers. The communications may also be recorded for evidentiary purposes by connecting a Digital or Analog (tape) recorder to the System. During prolonged operations the cell phone paired to the BSC can be charged by connecting the cell phone into the System’s built-in “Cell Phone Charger” port.

The BCS is also equipped with an “Auxiliary Phone Out” which allows the System to be integrated with an agency’s existing Crisis Response (Throw Phone) System. Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) staff can use the BCS to establish immediate communications to initiate negotiations with a subject involved in a hostage/barricade incident and later seamlessly transfer the negotiations to the Crisis Response System upon its arrival by using a standard RJ11 Telephone Patch Cable!

Counter-Intell Wireless Audio/Video Interceptor
Intercept ALL Non-Encrypted Wireless Audio/Video Signals Instantly!

During a high-risk entry the element of surprise is critical. Unfortunately, this element can be compromised when dangerous criminals have positioned wireless covert audio microphones and/or video cameras around the perimeter. Through the use of these wireless covert devices, criminals become instantly aware of the presence of law enforcement providing them with an opportunity to flee, or even worse, open fire on approaching officers.

The Counter-Intell Wireless Audio/Video Interceptor was developed to help limit these risks by giving law enforcement professionals the ability to detect the presence of these wireless devices.

Due to the sensitive nature of this item, complete information is ONLY available within the "Secure Area" of our website.
