The FieldWatch^™ is a versatile piece of equipment that can be used in ANY law enforcement/military application requiring the need to watch, listen to, record, or rebroadcast audio/video signals from virtually ANY auxiliary audio/video source: wired/wireless cameras, microphones, speakers; and computer monitors.

To watch and/or listen to the audio/video signals on the FieldWatch’s 15.0” monitor with built-in speakers, simply power on the unit and connect the source auxiliary device into the FieldWatch’s RCA Component, S-Video, or VGS (Computer Monitor) input ports.

Once connected the source auxiliary device’s audio/video signals can be recorded by connecting the provided Digital Audio/Video Recorder into the FieldWatch’s RCA outputs or rebroadcast by connecting a wireless transmitter or speaker.

Unlike a regular TV that is “fragile” and must be connected to a wall outlet to receive power the FieldWatch™ was designed for law enforcement/military field use. The FieldWatch™ is built inside a rugged/military specification Pelican^® case and features an internal, rechargeable battery can power the unit for up to 10-12 hours.

The FieldView^™ Digital Audio/Video Recording, Monitoring, Broadcast, and Link System was developed from the suggestions of law enforcement and military professionals seeking a rugged, compact, and easy-to-use device to monitor, digitally record, and broadcast audio/video signals from “plug and play” surveillance cameras, microphones, wireless audio/video transmitters and other a/v sources equipped with RCA output ports.

Unlike traditional monitoring/recording devices that are fragile, bulky, stationary, and must be connected to wall outlet power supply to operate; the FieldView^™ System features:

The FieldView^™ is operated by connecting an audio/video source into the RCA input port set located on the System’s Command Unit Console. Once connected to the a/v source, multiple team staff can view the source’s video signal on the 8.0” Color TFT Monitor that is mounted inside the System’s mil-spec Pelican^® case as well as listen to the source’s audio signals by connecting headphones into the (3) available 1/8” (3.5mm) stereo monitoring head-phone ports.

The audio/video signals can then be recorded by connecting the external Digital Audio/Video Recorder into any of the (3) RCA output ports located on the System’s Command Unit Console. The Digital Audio/Video Recorder delivered standard features a 20 GB internal hard drive to allow for approx. 20 hours of digital audio/video recording. The Digital Audio/Video Recorder also features a built-in 3.5” Color TFT Monitor and Speakers to allow the video to be remotely watched and listened while it is being recorded.

To further share the audio/video signals with additional team staff, the operator may connect any type of RCA compatible monitoring, recording, or broadcast device (TVs, Additional Digital Audio/Video Recorders, Speakers, Wireless Transmitters) into the available sets of RCA output ports located on the FieldView’s Command Unit Console.

The Audio/Video Capture & PC Connection Module is a powerful device and software package that allows virtually any analog audio/video source (Surveillance Cameras & Microphones, TVs, VCRs, Camcorders, etc…) to be captured/stored on a PC’s hard drive.

In addition to providing the ability to watch and listen to the analog source’s audio/video signals on a PC, with a click of the mouse, users can take digital still “snapshot” images of the video feed. The digital “snapshots” are stored directly on the PC’s hard drive in JPEG format to allow them to be printed or sent to other individuals as an email attachment.

Furthermore, the device’s software provides users with the ability to burn the “captured” audio/video files to CD or DVD (PC must feature CD or DVD burner to perform these functions) for documentation, review, and/or evidence.

• Digitally Record Audio/Video from Multiple Sources: Device is delivered with a Snap-On DVR accessory to allow the unit to be connected to and record from RCA component audio/video source (surveillance cameras, wired or wireless receivers, TVs, NOTE: Snap-ON DVR accessory allows for the connection to a VCR to convert analog VHS tapes to digital format that can be saved on a PC or burned to a CD or DVD ROM!
